CNSTHS conquers Division Science Fair

At the Division Science Fair held at Camarin High School (CHS) last October 14, the Caloocan National Science and Technology High School (CNSTHS) achieved the title “Top Performing School” through the awards won by its Science Investigatory Project (SIP) team.

In the SIP Individual category, Kirsten Denise Santos of Grade 10- Newton won with her study of the powers of malunggay in cleaning laboratory wastes.

Catherine Dell Cayme and Abigail Nasinopa of Grade 10- Einstein got first place in the Life Science category, Cedric Tuason and Juan Miguel Tamayo of 10- Galilei and 10- Einstein with second place, Agatha Marie Subagan and Rona Frances Valino of 10- Galilei with fourth place, and John Nenuel Diaz, Marc Andrew Bacuyag, Ed Noel De Leon, and Chrizelle Lian North Loyola of 10- Galilei with fifth place.

Meanwhile, in the Applied Science category, Kaye Trixia Go and Desiree Mendoza of 10- Galilei got second place.

All first placers of the contests have moved up to the Regional level, which was held last November 8, 2016.
